I do enjoy spicy food, so I have always loved Indian food. One of the classic dishes that you will find on just about any Indian Restaurant Menu is Tikka Masala, which is made with chicken cooked in the tandoor oven with a spicy curry sauce with tomato.
Recently, I was introduced to a new offering from Café Spice called Naan Toasties, which are inspired by the Indian Street Food Mumbai Toasties. The new Naan Toasties come in three flavors: Chutney Chicken, Chicken Tikka, and Cauli Tikka for those seeking a vegetarian option.
During the workweek, it can be difficult to find the time to prepare a nice lunch, and these Naan Toasties can be prepared in minutes. They can be either heated in a toaster oven or placed in a Panini press as I have done here today. Naan Toasties have authentic flavor, and the spice level is kept moderate to accommodate many palates.
These new Naan Toasties can be found at many retailers including Whole Foods, Gelson’s, and Fresh Time Markets to name a few. This quick and easy meal offers a taste sensation any time you’re in the mood for an authentic bite.
